Eleanor Beaton is an award-winning entrepreneur, women’s leadership coach, keynote speaker and personal branding consultant. In 2016, she was named as one of eight global advisors to the Visiting Women’s Executive Exchange Program at the Yale School of Management and a nominee for an RBC Women of Influence Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Eleanor works with ambitious professional women in two main areas. She helps established women tell their stories and create authentic, knock-out personal brands in order to unlock the very top level of success. And she helps emerging women leaders and entrepreneurs cultivate the leadership skills and executive presence they need to be taken seriously as a leader in order to reap the rewards they deserve.

Lisa Drader-Murphy is an award-winning independent Canadian fashion designer. Established in 1997, she leads one of Canada’s only remaining vertical design houses, designing and producing in her own facility in Falmouth, Nova Scotia and retailing at her five privately-held boutiques, as well as her newly launched Mobile Boutique.

Drader-Murphy’s designs are frequently spotted on the red carpet at events including the Oscars and the  Golden Globes. Jennifer Love Hewitt, Missi Pyle, and Michelle Rodriguez are among the celebrities who have selected Lisa’s designs.
She was named one of Atlantic Business Magazine’s Top 50 CEOs in 2016.

Lynn Hammond is an executive consultant with her company High Stakes Strategy & Communications in St. John’s, N.L. Her work focuses on senior executive support for high profile companies and organizations. Lynn’s career has evolved through progressively senior roles in the public service including the Communications Branch of Executive Council and the Office of the Premier.

An active volunteer, she is Co-Chair of the NL Chapter of Equal Voice, a national multi-partisan organization that seeks to elect more women to public office. Lynn regularly provides political commentary for CBC television and radio.

She describes herself as a “fixer” who defines problems and finds solutions, a “connector” who gets the right people together, a “simplifier” who helps explain anything to anyone, and a “storyteller” who delivers information with a lasting impression.

Caron Hawco, ABC, is a high performing business executive, an accomplished communications consultant, public/regulatory affairs strategist, negotiator and facilitator who advises corporate and business leaders, government and industry associations across multiple sectors. She is currently working on issues relating to gender and supplier diversity in the petroleum and mining industries. 

Caron is a specialist in oil and gas and industrial development and is the former Chair of the Newfoundland and Labrador Oil and Gas Industry Association (NOIA). Caron was also awarded Newfoundland and Labrador’s Communications Professional of the Year by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). 

From 2008-2015, Caron held management positions with Statoil Canada, serving as a member of its Offshore Canada leadership team, contributing to global corporate initiatives, such as Statoil’s Arctic and East Coast Canada Strategies and leading the development of its North American Communications Strategy. 

She is a strong supporter of the province’s arts and cultural industries and is serving on the executive for Business and Arts Newfoundland and Labrador.

Jessie Inman, MBA, ICD.D, is a senior executive with 25 years’ experience in Canada, United States, Europe and Asia. She is a consummate leader and has been the Chief Executive Officer of several companies and organizations in international trade and investment, manufacturing, environment, oil and gas, and culture. She is currently CEO of Confederation Centre of the Arts, a large and diverse cultural institution located in Charlottetown, P.E.I. During her career she has been a volunteer on many boards in various countries.

The Honourable Aldéa Landry, CM, PC, QC, is a former deputy premier of New Brunswick, a lawyer and entrepreneur. She is president of Landal Inc., vice-president of Diversis Inc. and partner/investor in several startups. She is a tireless and respected advocate for the accession of more women to leadership positions. She sits on the board of directors of several corporations, as well as international, national and community organisations. Recognized for her community engagement and as a champion of cultural and corporate diversity, she was inducted in the New Brunswick Business Hall of Fame in 2013.

Dana Parsons’ passion for technology led to her taking the leap into the startup world as co-founder with Brownie Points Inc. As the venture lead at the Genesis Centre, her role supports the portfolio of 11 companies which she intends to increase to 20 by Fall 2017. A chapter lead for Ladies Learning Code in Newfoundland, and an alumnus of 21Inc Innovators under 40 which exists under the Pond-Deshpande Centre, Dana has also held past positions as a director for TEDxStJohns, Happy City St. John’s, and Project Management Institute Newfoundland and Labrador chapter.

Laurie Sinclair, MBA is a business development officer at the Centre for Women in Business at Mount Saint Vincent University (MSVU), and Atlantic Canada chapter chair of the Women Presidents Organization (WPO), a network that connects women presidents, CEOs, and the directors of privately-held, multi-million-dollar companies.  Laurie also sits on the international board of WPO, which oversees chapters in North America, South America, Europe, and South Africa.

Laurie completed the Chartered Professional Accountant program and spent more than a decade as an auditor and financial consultant at an international accounting firm. She specializes in growth consulting, and leads the most in-demand workshop series in the Centre’s 25 year history: the Advanced Management and Mentorship Program (AMMP).  Laurie is also an assistant professor at MSVU and operates her own successful growth consulting practice: Sinclair & Associates Management Consulting.

Melanie Wildman’s mission is helping people live healthier and more successful lives. As a mother of three, wife, and founder of Nutracelle, she often says, “Success, at its core, is what you inspire others to achieve.”

This passion for leadership is the reason she has won five International Business Awards, including Best New Product, Startup of the Year and Woman of the Year.

Wildman, a former Mrs. Canada, lost over 100 pounds after having bariatric surgery and hosts her own cooking show, Protein Treats.
