AN ASTOUNDING 8,232 VOTES were cast for this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards—a 72 per cent increase over last year. And no wonder. In these uncertain economic times, service providers who can help accelerate your business are more valuable than ever. And Atlantic Business readers obviously feel strongly enough about their corporate partners to click their gratitude. Which is exactly how this process works.
Our open-ended online nomination form invites readers to tell us about their Best B2B service providers across 24 categories. We don’t suggest, or recommend, or shortlist nominees. For each category, readers tell us about the local providers who serve them best. We also don’t share any preliminary results throughout the year because we don’t want to influence or encourage bandwagon voting.
For each category, the candidate with the most votes wins. Honourable Mention is only awarded when the second place finisher has a minimum of 75 per cent of the vote compared to the category winner.
