Call for Nominations
ECOlogical Awards
Introducing Atlantic Business Magazine’s inaugural ECOlogical Awards, an initiative recognizing green leaders in Atlantic Canada’s resource development industries.
Winners will be profiled in the September/October edition of Atlantic Business Magazine (print and digital editions). They will also be provided with exclusive digital branding tools for marketing purposes, such as promotional materials, email signatures, websites and more.
ELIGIBILITY:
- “Company” can be for-profit, not-for-profit/non-profit or social enterprise
- Applicants must be based in, and active in, one or more of the four Atlantic Canada provinces
- Where projects are undertaken in partnership with companies or organizations outside of Atlantic Canada, the main proponent/developer must be based in, and active in, one or more of the four Atlantic Canada provinces
- Projects submitted for consideration must be currently ongoing OR recently completed (between January 1, 2025 and February 28, 2026)
ENTRY CATEGORIES
Marine
Recognizes a company whose business demonstrates leadership in the restoration and/or protection of ocean and river environments (nomination can be for a single project or overall corporate mission/activity)

Land-based
Recognizes a corporate leader in the protection of natural land-based ecosystems (nomination can be for a single project or overall corporate mission/activity)

Circular Champion
Recognizes a company that is a circular economy champion—prioritizing sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and upcycling/recycling existing materials and products for as long as possible (nomination can be for a single project or overall corporate mission/activity)

2-Step Nomination Process
Step 1: Pay a $250 + HST non-refundable nomination processing fee (fee payment does not guarantee award win)
Step 2: Once your fee is paid, you will be emailed a link to your confidential nomination form. Forms must be submitted online before April 1 using the link sent via email.
