Top 50 CEOs Event Schedule

There are 2 parts to the Top 50 CEO celebration:
  • A private group photo/networking luncheon for Top 50 award winners and event sponsors;
  • Red carpet awards gala.
Location: Everything takes place at the Halifax Convention Centre on Thursday, May 15.
Luncheon
This is a private networking event exclusively for Top 50 CEO award winners, Hall of Fame alumni who have a ticket to the awards gala and event sponsors (lunch will be provided).
Dress code: Typical business attire
Agenda:
11:30   Group photo for Top 50 CEOs
12:00   Lunch
12:30   Keynote: Dr. Siyabulela Mandela, renowned South African academic, human rights advocate, and great-grandson of Nelson Mandela (sponsored by the Government of Nova Scotia; presented in partnership with The Varanda Network)
1:30     Adjourn
Awards Gala
All segments of the awards gala are open to event ticket holders.
Dress code:
Red carpet mode for the Top 50 CEOs (so they literally stand out in the crowd); Business formal/cocktail attire for all other attendees.
Agenda:
5:30     Networking reception (cash bar)
6:30     Welcome Remarks: Hon. Colton LeBlanc, Minister of Growth & Development, Government of Nova Scotia
6:35     Dinner service
7:45     Keynote Address by Chrystia Freeland, Canada’s Former Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Finance
8:15     Award presentations
9:30     Dessert buffet/networking reception (cash bar)

 

Ticket Information

Tickets can only be purchased for the Awards Gala. The Networking Lunch is exclusively for 2025 award winners, past Hall of Fame inductees and 2025 event sponsors. Hall of Famers from previous years who have registered for the gala are welcome to attend the luncheon at no extra cost but they do need to register via email [email protected]. Sorry, guests are not permitted for the luncheon.

Gala tickets are $295 per person plus taxes and fees.

A table (seats 10) costs $2,950.00 plus taxes and fees.

Accommodations

We have reserved a block of rooms at a reduced room rate of $249 CAD per night at The Sutton Place Hotel Halifax. This rate will be available until Wednesday, April 16, 2025 or until the room block is fully booked, whichever comes first.

Applicable Rules
  • The booking is to be made to the following city: Halifax, YHZ (CA)
  • The travel period begins Thursday, May 08, 2025 and ends Thursday, May 22, 2025.
  • Travel is valid Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
  • For North America’ 5% applies on standard fares, 10% on flex fares & higher. For International Travel’ 10% on standard fares & higher.
  • All bookings made using the promotion code will count toward the minimum 10 passenger requirement for Meetings and Conventions.
