From the almost 200 nominations submitted through our website… to the 65 finalists who completed the Nominee Information Form… to the weeks of careful scrutiny by the judges… to the magazine you are currently reading… selecting Atlantic Canada’s 25 Most Powerful Women in Business is a journey.

Winners are women who excel in their careers—but that’s just for starters. They are also innovators and changemakers whose ideas and actions are felt throughout their broader industry as well as the regional, if not international, business community. And, they are enthusiastic supporters and advocates, dedicated to making space for other women to find and embrace their personal strengths.

Reaching this point is indeed a journey, but like all journeys it starts with a single step. We encourage you to set someone’s feet on this path with a nomination for the 2026 competition. Eligible nominees must live in one of the four Atlantic provinces and they must either work directly in the corporate sector or their work must have significant direct impact on the business community.
