Atlantic Lottery: Betting on us

As the tariff war heats up, Atlantic Canadian consumers and B2B buyers are looking for local alternatives to international suppliers. Elbows up!

“We work hard to help build stronger communities that benefit everyone,” says Dallas McCready, AL’s president and CEO. “Whether or not you play, the impact of Atlantic Lottery is all around you.”

In a region built on resilience, Atlantic Lottery (AL) is playing for keeps.

“We exist to support Atlantic Canada,” says Dallas McCready, AL’s president and CEO. “Every decision we make, every product we launch, and every dollar we return is about helping this region thrive.”

Since 1976, AL has returned more than $12 billion in profit to the four Atlantic provinces. In 2023-24 alone, that figure reached $487 million—funding public services like healthcare, education and infrastructure. Last year, 91 cents of every lottery dollar stayed in the region, supporting local winners, workers and businesses.

As Atlantic Canada’s only legal and regulated online gaming provider, AL is a global leader in responsible play, holding top-tier certifications from the World Lottery Association and the Responsible Gambling Council. In 2025, AL once again earned RG Check Accreditation for its online platform and Red Shores Casino operations in Charlottetown and Summerside.

“Healthy play isn’t just a policy—it’s part of our DNA,” says McCready. “Atlantic Canadians can trust we are regulated, accountable and care about our players and communities.”

That care is further demonstrated by sponsoring hundreds of grassroots events and initiatives that celebrate diversity across the region. AL is also building a  comprehensive ESG framework, overseen by a dedicated board committee to ensure sustainability stays central to operations.

“The entire AL team shares a deep commitment to this region,” McCready says. “Together, we are able to make a game-changing impact for the people and places of Atlantic Canada.”
