The Big Reveal: Atlantic Business Magazine’s 2022 Top 50 CEOs

This year, we celebrate creativity.

Specifically, the creative thinking and strategic artistry that helped regional businesses survive (even thrive) during the pandemic. The past two years were like a 24-month run of improv, with leaders having to adjust and react to all kinds of unforeseen circumstances. And Atlantic Business Magazine’s Top 50 CEOs did it in style.

This annual awards program is itself a production. The rough draft of the script comes together with the online submission of nominations. Then it goes through a series of refinements in the hands of the judges: initial read-through; scoring; and finally, cast selection. From there, it goes through editorial rehearsals as we finesse the flow and content of the issue you are now reading.

Ultimately, though, it’s the CEOs themselves who deservedly get top billing. They are, after all, the stars of this show.
