Atlantic Business Magazine's Top 50 CEO Hall of Fame Legacy Project

About this Project:

Atlantic Business Magazine’s Top 50 CEO Hall of Fame Legacy Project is a micro-investment fund designed to nurture and support youth-driven projects with the potential to make Atlantic Canada a more attractive place to live and work, while tackling barriers to sustainable and equitable growth.

Applications are now being accepted for the inaugural round of funding: four projects will be awarded between $5,000 and $15,000 in one-time, non-repayable grants. Chosen projects will also be matched with a one to three-member Top 50 CEO Hall of Fame advisory board. For a minimum of one year, advisory board members will share their knowledge and support to the youth-driven initiative. Through constructive feedback, resource recommendations and strategic network expansion, the advisory board will help foster the project’s growth and potential.

Eligibility:

  • Project leader(s) must be under 40 years of age as of December 31, 2026.
  • Project leader(s) must live in one of the four Atlantic provinces.
  • There are no restrictions on the nature of the project (can be for-profit, non-profit/not-for-profit or charitable, etc.)
  • Project must be specific to Atlantic Canada.
  • Eligible costs include project administration and infrastructure (staffing or wages are not eligible)
