Rarely does a physical award convey the message of its significance as effectively as the trophies for Atlantic Business Magazine’s 25 Most Powerful Women in Business program. Shown in outline above, each award is a hand-blown glass sculpture shaped to represent the female form, with one arm raised up in celebration and the other extended in invitation and support.
That’s exactly what this program is all about.
Now in its fourth year, our Most Powerful Women awards celebrate businesswomen of influence who live and work in Atlantic Canada. They are corporate builders and industry shapers. Connectors and mentors. Role models and investors. Their individual stories are as distinctly unique as each honoree’s life experiences. At they same time, they are fiercely united in how they leverage that power to protect and strengthen others.
Even as they accept their award and accolades, this year’s 25 honorees are nurturing the next generation of award winners. To be uplifted, and to lift up: that’s what it means to be one of Atlantic Canada’s Most Powerful Women in Business. Congratulations—and thank you.
