From Memorial University in the heart of St. John’s, Conference & Event Services and Guest Accommodations offers planners a combination of event space, on-site accommodations and logistical support within a single campus setting.

“You bring the vision, we bring the expertise,” Memorial says of its event-planning approach.

From conference and event spaces to year-round accommodations and event-management support, Memorial has developed an integrated approach designed to simplify logistics for academic, corporate and private gatherings of all sizes.

Located just 10 minutes from the St. John’s airport, the campus combines a wide range of venues with accommodations in a walkable setting proximate to downtown St. John’s, Signal Hill and the city harbour.

The university’s selection of event spaces includes conference facilities, lecture halls, classrooms, boardrooms, social spaces and outdoor venues, reflecting a blend of historic and modern campus architecture.

Conference and Event Services supports both on-campus and off-site events, providing planning and logistical support in English and French. Services range from registration and sponsorship coordination to day-of management and post-event evaluation.

Guest Accommodations offers rooms for conferences, summer camps, travelling teams and other groups year round, with amenities including free Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, catering access and common gathering areas designed to encourage informal networking and socializing between events.

Director of Conference and Event Services Marie-Claude Renaud says the goal is to provide organizers with flexible spaces supported by experienced event professionals.

“We are pleased to offer beautiful, diverse spaces on campus for all types of events, from banquets to conferences and have an expert team to support your event,” says Renaud.
