Joyce Carter is President & CEO of Halifax International Airport Authority, which oversees Halifax Stanfield International Airport, one of Atlantic Canada’s most critical pieces of transportation infrastructure.
Pre-pandemic, Halifax Stanfield contributed 5,700 jobs and $3.8 billion annually to the provincial economy. In 2019, the airport served more than 4 million passengers for the third year in a row and processed a record 41,000 metric tonnes of cargo.
For this episode of Take 5 with the Top 50, Joyce talks about Covid’s impact on the travel industry and what it will take for travel to return to resume pre-Covid levels. She also shares her vision-setting leadership strategy and the talks about the most inspiring leader she has ever worked with.
For each episode of Atlantic Business Magazine’s Take 5 with the Top 50 CEOs video series, we ask five questions of a 2020 Top 50 CEO award winner. See video below for the full Q&A with Joyce Carter.
