Holland College students take four at Skills Canada competition

The 4,872 km flight from Charlottetown to Vancouver turned into the journey of a lifetime for a talented trio of Holland College students. The highlight for each was undoubtedly their trip to the podium at the Skills Canada national competition.

Rebecca Cook won bronze in Restaurant Service, Jeff Hunter received silver in IT Network Service and Joshua MacDonald claimed gold in Automation and Control, as well as a Best in Region award.

MacDonald, who describes the competition as a fun learning opportunity, says that “winning the gold medal at nationals was an amazing experience that I will never forget.”
